"A Stitch in Time" - Judy Rawnsley - Ellen Creek Samplers. Ellen Creek is a place that time has forgotten. Amid the wildflowers and trees stands the time-worn cabin where Judy does her work. With the squeak of an old rocking chair, a crackling fire and a family of cats to keep her company, Judy stitches each sampler, using old buttons, lace and quilts. Her Grandad made the frame from his old barn that was torn down in 1992.

"Welcome to the Woods" primitive style sampler nicely framed in a forest green frame with the back finished off. Size 5x7. Judy Rawnsley - Ellen Creek Samplers, dated Sept. 1992. Depression Glass candy bowl - unknown pattern and manufacturer. In excellent condition. This is an absolutely gorgeous pattern, I wish I knew what it was. I believe that this might have had a lid, as there is a slight indention just inside the rim at the top of the bowl that would accomodate a lid, but I am not sure. Measures 4¾" in diameter and 3" high.
